Prior to founding TekHarbor in 2000, Mr. Goins has been responsible for various strategic advisory assignments to technology companies including acquisitions, divestitures and joint venture activities on a corporate level and through his own private enterprise.
From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Goins was co-founder and general partner of Seruus Telecom Fund, L.P., a private equity partnership based in Greenville, South Carolina, with an annualized cash-on-cash IRR of over 60%. Portfolio companies received over $500 million in subsequent funding from recognized sources of private capital.
His career has included various financial management, strategic and business development positions with technology and communications companies including Sprint (NYSE: FON), Corporate Telemanagement Group (now Qwest NASDAQ: Q), and National Telemanagement Corp. (now VeriSign NASDAQ: VRSN).
Mr. Goins enrolled in liberal arts studies at Harding College, earned a B.B.A. at the University of Memphis, received licensure as a certified public accountant, and earned an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
